The Dual Immersion Academy of Salinas Parent-Teacher Organization (DIAS PTO) is made up of parents and teachers with the mission of working together to provide an exceptional dual immersion educational program with excellent opportunities for our children. DIAS PTO supports and promotes parent involvement to enhance the school community, supports teachers and provides them with classroom resources where needed, and helps provide extraordinary learning experiences for our students.

When teachers are in the classroom, their priority is focusing on our students. If you have a question that may take a few minutes to discuss, please leave your teacher a note or email them with your question and contact info, and they will get in touch with you. Thank you!

We Encourage Parental Involvement

A positive learning environment at home has a powerful impact on how well students do in school. Our goal is to help give you the tools to help your child succeed and we encourage all of our families to get involved with our school.
At Dual Immersion Academy of Salinas (DIAS), we welcome parents as volunteers in schools and invite parents to act as full partners in making school decisions that affect children and families.
“When schools, families, and community groups work together to support learning, children tend to do better in school, stay in school longer, and like school more.”
We'd love as many parents as possible to be as involved. Our goal is to build partnerships with families so we can promote high student achievement. Whether you can help out for 20 minutes once a month, can join us in the classroom, volunteer to chair a new initiative, or participate in our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), every action, small or large, adds up to making a big difference.
